Celebrate the milestones in modern medicine as the LifeCourse Center of Harbor Hospital Center offers a unique glimpse through its photo exhibit, "Medicine's Great Journey: One Hundred Years of Healing," Saturday through March 13.

Photo collections from 10 countries offer a look at the people and events that have shaped the medical field. Photographs include captions written by Pulitzer Prize winners Dr. Robert Coles and Richard Flaste.

Exhibit takes place at the LifeCourse Center at Harbor Hospital Center, 2900 S. Hanover St. Saturday through March 13. Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays. Free. For more information, call (410) 354-9655. If you want to attract the bluebird, the wise old owl or every chickadee to your backyard, you could get some pointers at the Eastern Bluebird Show, Saturday at the Anita Leight Estuary Center in Abingdon.

Local bluebird expert Debbie Delevan will discuss nest box placement, monitoring and predator control. A slide show on the bird's habitat and history will be presented. And a variety of bluebird boxes, books and other materials will be available.

The "Eastern Bluebird Show," sponsored by Wildlife R&R, will be at the Anita Leight Estuary Center, 700 Otter Point Road in Abingdon, Saturday, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Free. Registration required. Call (410) 612-1688.
