Former Bryn Mawr standout Kisha Ford, a senior forward at Georgia Tech, was a first-team selection in voting for the Associated Press' 1996-97 all-Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball team announced yesterday.
Ford, The Sun's girls basketball Player of the Year in 1992-93, was second in the ACC in scoring (20.4 ppg) and became Georgia Tech's career scoring leader this season.
University of Maryland junior guard Sonia Chase (McDonogh) and North Carolina sophomore forward Chanel Wright (Western) were honorable-mention picks.
