Westminster: Firefighters from Pleasant Valley assisted Westminster at 1: 49 p.m. Friday, responding to a fire alarm on Business Parkway South. Units were out 15 minutes.

Reese: Firefighters from Gamber, Hampstead and Boring in Baltimore County assisted Reese at 3: 21 p.m. Thursday, responding to an electrical fire in the 1600 block of Emory Road. Units were out 37 minutes.

Police

Westminster: A Sykesville resident told police that someone broke into his car while it was parked at Western Maryland College on Wednesday and stole a pair of sunglasses. Damage and loss were estimated at $860.

Westminster: A resident of Dulaney Terrace told police that someone broke the windshield of her vehicle while it was parked at Western Maryland College on Wednesday and stole personal property. Damage and loss were estimated at $650.

Westminster: A resident of Hampstead told police that someone slashed the tires on her vehicle while it was parked Wednesday on Long Valley Road. The estimated loss was unavailable.

Westminster: A resident of Deer Park Road told police that someone stole her purse Wednesday from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Johahn Drive. The estimated loss was not disclosed.

Westminster: A resident of South Court Street told police that someone punctured the tires on her vehicle while it was parked at the Longwell Avenue parking lot Wednesday. Damage was estimated at $150.
