Joan Post to oversee two shopping centers

Black Rock Management has hired Joan Post to be general manager for Carrolltown Center in Eldersburg and South York Value Center in York, Pa.

She will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of both centers, including tenant relations, management and leasing.

First National pledges money for Women's Center

First National Bank of Maryland has pledged $4,500 toward the new Women's Center at Carroll County General Hospital.

The $2 million center, to be located in the former county health department building, will open this summer.

Lee Depot, assistant vice president and area manager of First National Bank, made the first payment in the pledge to Ruth Dennison-Tedesco, vice president for development at CCGH, and John Sernulka, hospital president.

Bartolini, Capriola, Kulesa open Eldersburg office

The law firm of Bartolini, Capriola and Kulesa has opened an office at 1643 Liberty Road in Eldersburg.

The firm specializes in personal injury, domestic, bankruptcy and criminal law.

Dan Bartolini, Paul Capriola and Kevin Kulesa also are active in the community, sponsoring and coaching sports teams, and in their church.
