Terra Maria, a neo-traditional neighborhood in Ellicott City featuring 102 19th-century Federalist-style homes that back to alleys, and several village greens, is continuing its grand opening from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.

Arundel Woods Construction Co. Inc. and Pulte Home Corp. are the builders. It will include a community center and tennis court. The Orion Group is the developer.

Model homes are open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Take U.S. 40 west to Route 144 west to Terra Maria on the right.

Arundel Woods is offering six floor plans at Terra Maria. Standard features include interior transom windows, 9-foot first-floor ceilings, hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder rooms, a fireplace in the family room, unfinished basement and an attached two-car garage. A detached garage is optional.

The model is the Galvin, a 2,795-square-foot house with front and rear porches and a base price of $338,990.

Features include a two-story foyer, 14-by-11-foot living room with decorator columns, powder and laundry rooms, guest closet, 14-by-12-foot dining room, 15-by-19-foot family room, 14-by-16-foot kitchen with pantry and work island and 12-by-15-foot breakfast room with bookcases.

Upstairs, the master suite has a 16-by-18-foot bedroom, walk-in closet and bath with a soaking tub, separate shower, dual vanities and privacy toilet. There are three more bedrooms, a linen closet and a full hall bath.
