Maryland State Police have obtained an arrest warrant against a Lakeland, Fla., man in the slaying of a Detroit woman whose body was found in the Chesapeake Bay off Cove Point in Calvert County in August 1993.
John David O'Meara, 32, was arrested in Lakeland this week for violating an ex-parte order. A check of records showed he was wanted in the death of Nancy Lynn Manni, 23, who was at seamanship school in Piney Point.
