Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Howard County.

Long Reach: 5500 block of Eaglebeak Row: An upper-level door was removed and a basement window was found shattered Monday when someone tried to break into a house.

Oakland Mills: 6100 block of Encounter Row: A house was broken into Monday or Tuesday when a set of double doors was forced open. Cash was stolen from the home.

Owen Brown: 7200 block of Talisman Lane: A black, four-door 1990 Honda Accord, Maryland license plate YBM-269, was stolen Monday or Tuesday.

North Laurel: 8200 block of U.S. 1: Someone pried open a screen from a bathroom window Monday and tried to enter a house. No entry was gained.

North Laurel: Two men attempted to break into a large warehouse trailer Monday by breaking the knob off the trailer door.

North Laurel: A white 1987 Buick Century, Maryland license plate XPS-539, was stolen Monday.

Savage: 8500 block of Storch Woods Drive: Someone broke into a house Monday and stole a collection of antique dolls.
