Outlook: Washington's 4-1 loss to Edmonton on Sunday means the Capitals failed to beat Edmonton at least once in a season for the first time since 1984-85 and did not pick up a point against the Oilers for the first time ever. Washington is 1-2-1 on its five-game trip. The Canucks have lost four of their past five games, including Saturday's 4-2 setback to the Toronto Maple Leafs. C Mike Ridley extended his point-scoring streak to four games (3-3-6), and C Trevor Linden pushed his streak to three (0-6-6).
