Outlook: This nonconference game marks the return of Loyola coach Brian Ellerbe to Rutgers, where he was a four-year starter and spent the 1985-86 season as a graduate assistant. The Greyhounds' four-game winning streak ended Sunday with a 98-88 loss at Iona. Freshman G Jason Rowe (13.0 ppg, 4.1 apg), the only Loyola player to start every game, scored a career-high 27 points and tied the school record with six three-pointers. The Scarlet Knights fell to 5-8 in the Big East with Saturday's 53-50 loss to Miami.
