Scaggsville: 10700 block of Glen Hannah Drive: Someone broke into a house through a rear sliding glass door Thursday and took a television.

Ellicott City: 8300 block of Main St.: An electric saw was stolen from a storage shed Thursday.

Owen Brown: 8800 block of Stanford Blvd.: A black four-door 1997 Ford Escort was stolen. No further details are known.

Long Reach: 8700 block of Cloudleap Court: A robber smashed the glass of the front of CVS Pharmacy and stole cigarettes Wednesday.

Long Reach: A Dodge Daytona was stolen Tuesday. No further details are known.

Hickory Ridge: 6200 block of Sunny Spring: Someone tried to break the molding off a patio door Wednesday in an attempt to get into a house.

Hickory Ridge: 10300 block of Hickory Ridge Road: An attempt was made to kick open the front door of a house Wednesday.

Hickory Ridge: 10200 block of Hickory Ridge Road: A resident found a robber trying to climb into a house through a bedroom window Wednesday. The suspect fled.

Hickory Ridge: 11200 block of Skilift Court: Someone tried to steal a brown four-seat 1990 Subaru Legacy between Jan. 31 and Tuesday.

Lisbon: 3100 block of Florence Road: Cash and three firearms were stolen from a storage shed Wednesday or Thursday.
