Coastal Carolina (9-12, 4-5) at UMBC (2-18, 1-9)

Site: UMBC Fieldhouse

Time: 7

Outlook: UMBC is coming off Monday's 81-66 loss to Radford. Freshman G Jason Womble, named the Big South Conference's Rookie of the Week, has 47 points in his past three games. Coastal Carolina lost to Charleston Southern on Monday, 72-53, its second straight defeat since upsetting first-place UNC-Asheville, 70-60, on Jan. 30. UMBC's frontcourt will be tested by senior F Ben Avery (13.4 ppg, 7.4 rpg) and senior C Maurice Ingram (7.6 rpg), who averaged 12.0 points and 7.7 rebounds in three games last week. Coastal Carolina beat UMBC, 73-58, on Jan. 18.

Maryland women (15-5, 6-4) at No. 5 N. Carolina (19-1, 11-0)

Site: Carmichael Auditorium, Chapel Hill, N.C.

Time: 7

Outlook: The Terps have won six of their past seven, but dropped a 73-49 decision to Virginia on Monday night, and are tied with Duke for third in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Maryland will have just eight players available because freshman F Brandi Barnes (Joppatowne) contracted mononucleosis and did not make the trip. North Carolina has won 12 straight. Junior F Tracy Reid leads the ACC in scoring (21.5) and rebounding (10.6) and had 41 points and 16 rebounds in last week's win over Virginia. Sophomore F Chanel Wright (Western) is sixth in the league in scoring. The Tar Heels beat Maryland, 79-69, in College Park last month.
