Two BB shots fired at car on parkway

February 05, 1997

Someone in a red sports car fired two rounds from a BB gun at a Baltimore teen-ager Saturday as she drove north on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, county police said.

Lori Lee Cornwell, 17, was near the Baltimore Beltway about 9: 15 p.m. when she saw the sports car, with tinted windows, pull up beside her.

When she looked at the car again, she noticed that the window was rolled down and saw a gun being pointed at her. She pulled away from the car, and just as she did, she heard two rounds being fired from the gun. A BB hit the rear driver's side of her 1990 Ford Festiva.
