Truck window is broken BB or pellet gun suspected

February 05, 1997

The passenger-side window of a Pasadena man's truck, apparently hit with a round from a BB gun or a pellet gun, shattered as the man drove along Route 100 Monday, county police said yesterday.

John William Gillingham, 25, of the 700 block of 221st St. told police he was eastbound just east of Route 10 shortly after 4 p.m. when the window of his 1992 Chevrolet truck shattered.

Gillingham reported the incident to police, who checked the car but did not any of the pellets. Police think a BB or pellet gun was used because of the way the glass shattered, police said.
