Man arrested in burglary attempt

February 04, 1997

County police arrested a Linthicum man yesterday on charges of trying to break into a Glen Burnie dental office, county police said.

Mark Steven Moore, 36, of the 6800 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard was charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary.

Police said Officer Pam Davis was patrolling the 1800 block of Crain Highway shortly after 1 a.m. when she saw a man trying to pry open the front doors of the Southgate Dental Association. The man walked to the back of the building and was trying the rear door when Davis stopped him, police said.

Davis arrested the man after searching him and finding a screwdriver, a razor knife, a buck knife and a glove, police said.
