There's still time to submit your nomination for the Artscape '97 Literary Arts Awards.
Literary organizations, arts councils and nonprofit theaters in Maryland have until Feb. 7 to enter their choice in three categories -- poetry, short story and one-act plays.
The poetry and short story winners will receive 250 copies of their winning manuscript published in a chapbook edition. The winning playwright will receive a $1,500 honorarium for production expenses, two technical rehearsals and technical assistance during performances and two presentations of the winning one-act play at Artscape '97, scheduled July 25-27.
