New positions

UNC appoints Bubb, Conger, Mosesian to new posts

UNC Inc., an Annapolis-based aviation services company, appointed Gregory M. Bubb senior vice president and chief financial officer of its Garrett Aviation Services Division. Phoenix, Ariz.-based Garrett, with $600 million in projected 1997 revenues, is the largest of UNC's three businesses. Bubb, formerly senior vice president of finance at UNC's Annapolis headquarters, will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the 1,100-person unit.

UNC also named Kenneth G. Mosesian treasurer with responsibility for banking relationships and capital investments. Mosesian most recently was treasurer of Par Pharmaceutical Inc.

Mary Conger was appointed director of investor relations, with responsibility for all communications to the financial community. Before joining UNC, Conger was a partner at Foristall Co., an investor relations firm.

Joseph E. Schwartz CEO of Intelligent Automation

Intelligent Automation Inc. appointed Joseph E. Schwartz as chief executive officer. The former vice president of the Orkand Corp. will head the Rockville-based artificial intelligence research, development and services company. His duties include expanding and diversifying its market position and product offerings. Schwartz received a doctorate in political science from Temple University and taught at American, Pennsylvania State and Syracuse universities.

Shultz communications chief for Bay Foundation

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation has named Michael L. Shultz as director of communications, where he will oversee media relations, publications, interactive media and research for the Annapolis-based conservation organization. Shultz, of Annapolis, formerly was a reporter and editor at The Evening Sun and most recently communications and research manager for The Baltimore Sun Co.

Kyle named vice president at Earle Palmer Brown

Earle Palmer Brown has selected Trish Kyle as vice president, corporate human resources. Before joining the Bethesda-based regional marketing and communications firm, she was human resources vice president for Eric Mower & Associates of Syracuse, N.Y. A business management graduate of the State University of New York Empire State College, she is active in the American Association of Advertising Agencies.

Esther Eisenman senior associate at Hodes

Hodes, Ulman, Pessin & Katz appointed Esther Eisenman as senior associate in its estates and trusts planning division. A graduate of the New York University School of Law, she is founder and director of the New Jersey-based charitable Yossi Lampert G'mach Fund. A Pikesville resident, she also serves on the development committee of Yeshivat Rambam.
