Sylvan Learning Center hires associate director

The Sylvan Learning Center, in preparation to expand into Eldersburg this spring, has hired Tracy Ash as an associate director of education.

She previously taught in Baltimore and Washington Chapter I programs operated by Sylvan Learning Center. She has a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Taylor University Indiana.

Ash's duties will include providing supplemental education programs in reading, math, writing and other subjects to students from kindergarten to adulthood.
