Man, woman arrested on drug charges after raid

County police arrested a man and a woman Wednesday and seized 60 grams of cocaine, $1,391 and a car in a raid on their Brooklyn Park house that came after a monthlong investigation.

Kenneth Ralph Dovel Jr., 24, and Sharon Jean Damico, 20, both of the 100 block of Haile Ave., were charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

Police said they began investigating after neighbors complained illegal drug activity. More than $6,000 worth of what later tested positive for cocaine and the cash were found in the home, police said.

Police said they seized the couple's 1990 Chevrolet Beretta on grounds it was used to transport drugs.
