Pasadena man accused of theft from motorist

County police arrested a Pasadena man Wednesday and charged him with robbing another Pasadena man who had given him a ride.

Darryl L. Moore, 37, of the 7800 block of Freetown Road was charged with armed robbery.

Eric Von Conrad, 34, of Green Haven told police he saw a man he thought was an acquaintance pushing a bicycle along Mountain Road shortly before 10: 30 p.m. and offered him a ride.

The man got into Conrad's vehicle, drew a gun and ordered Conrad to take him to Freetown, police said. When they got to the area, the man demanded money and Conrad complied, police said. The man got out, and Conrad followed him to the 7800 block of Freetown Road and called police. Officer Greg Tate found the suspect at his home, police said.
