If you didn't have the time or the frame of mind to make New Year's resolutions, it's not too late.
Want to get in shape or quit smoking? Then check out two programs offered by Harbor Hospital Center at Helix Health Park on Ritchie Highway.
The new LEAN (Lifetime of Exercise and Nutrition) program can help you keep your resolution to lose weight.
The six-week program, offered at 10 a.m. Saturdays, Jan. 11 through Feb. 14, will focus on developing individual healthy eating and exercise plans.
The cost is $49 and includes a free membership in the hospital's fitness center during the program.
Learn to quit smoking through behavior modification at the FreshStart smoking cessation program that will meet from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Feb. 11.
The program, developed by the American Lung Association, will help educate smokers about situations that trigger smoking and how to handle them.
The program costs $15, refundable upon completion.
Advance registration is required for both programs.
