December 29, 1996

A 33-year-old deliveryman was in serious condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the chest Friday night by two men who were robbing a Trak Auto store in Brooklyn Park, Anne Arundel County police said.

Nicholas Primikirios of the 5100 block of Westland Blvd. was delivering subs to the store on Ritchie Highway near 11th Avenue about 8: 20 p.m. as two men were taking money from the store's cash register, police said.

The robbers shot Primikirios, police said, when he startled them as he entered the store. Primikirios, who is a driver for Primos Pizza & Subs, 5000 block of Ritchie Highway, was taken to Shock Trauma, police said.
