Glen Burnie woman cuts fingers grabbing knife held by robber

December 27, 1996

A Glen Burnie woman was injured Wednesday when she tried to grab a knife from one of three men who robbed her of $5 in Glen Burnie early Christmas morning, county police said.

Jennifer Marie Wolfe, 24, was treated for cuts to her fingers at North Arundel Hospital and released.

Wolfe told police she was walking on Crain Highway near Nolpark Court about 1: 45 a.m. when three men approached. One pulled out a knife and demanded money, police said.

Wolfe gave the men $5 and a pack of cigarettes and then grabbed at the knife and cut her fingers, police said.

Police do not have a detailed description of the bandits.
