Car is stolen in Highland, set on fire in neighbor's driveway

A 1986 Ford Mustang was stolen and set on fire Monday morning in Highland, the State Fire Marshal's office said.

The car's owner, Christopher Allingham Jr. of the 6900 block of Mink Hollow Road, had not reported the car stolen when firefighters responded.

The burned Mustang was found in a neighbor's driveway about 2: 45 a.m.

"It's a miracle that it didn't burn the whole neighborhood down," said the neighbor, Karen Burroughs.
