The father of a 4-day-old girl was fatally shot in front of his East Baltimore home yesterday in what police said was a drug-related incident.

Homicide Detective Lynette Nevins said Najee Baker, 21, of the 600 block of Cokesbury Ave. was shot once in the head by one of two men who also robbed him of money and marijuana. The assailants drove off, Nevins said.

She said Baker was pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital shortly after the 1: 35 p.m. incident.
