Bullets tonight

December 22, 1996

Opponent: Vancouver Grizzlies

Site: General Motors Place, Vancouver, British Columbia

Time: 9

Radio: WWRC (980 AM)

Outlook: This is the fifth game of six on a West Coast trip for the Bullets, who look to go over .500 for the first time in nearly a month. A win would give the Bullets a 13-12 record, matching the team's best 25-game start since the 1985-86 season. The Grizzlies (5-22) have the worst record in the NBA and have lost two straight. Rookie F Shareef Abdur-Rahim ( 14.0 ppg) and C Bryant Reeves (13.3 ppg) lead five players who average in double figures. The Bullets, who have won five of their past six, swept their two games against Vancouver last season.
