Annapolis man, 43, fatally hit by car on Ritchie Highway

A 43-year-old Annapolis man was fatally injured yesterday when he was struck by a car while walking across Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, county police reported.

Richard Brown of the 400 block of Oaklawn Ave. was crossing the highway after getting out of a car near Cypress Creek Road about 2 a.m. when he was struck by a 1965 Chevrolet Impala, police said.

No charge was lodged against the driver of the Impala, Andrew James King, 18, of the 1000 block of Arundel Drive in Arnold.
