County school supervisor to speak on special education

CHANGE Inc. will present a round-table discussion on special education at 7 p.m. tomorrow at 115 Stoner Ave. in Westminster.

Harry Fogle, supervisor of special education for the Carroll County public schools, will discuss and answer questions about services, the special education budget and legislation, the future of federal funding and amending a child's special education plan.

Refreshments will be served at 7 p.m. The discussion will begin at 7: 45 p.m.

Fire

Pleasant Valley: Firefighters from Westminster assisted Pleasant Valley at 12: 49 p.m. Monday, responding for a fire alarm in the 2500 block of Littlestown Pike. Units were out 40 minutes.

Reese: Firefighters from Gamber assisted Reese at 3: 06 p.m. Monday, responding for a house fire in the 1000 block of Green Hill Road in Baltimore County. Units were out 36 minutes.

Police

Westminster: The owner of a West Main Street framing shop told police Sunday that someone broke a door window to his business. Damage was estimated at $300.
