Loyola (2-2) at Towson State (2-5)

Site: Towson Center

Time: 7: 30

Radio: WWLG (1360 AM)

Outlook: Loyola will try again for its 1,000th victory in the program's 85-year history. The Greyhounds were denied the milestone Saturday by losing at home to Mount St. Mary's, 74-60. The Tigers are tired, ailing and slumping. They've lost four in a row, squandering a nine-point lead in the final five minutes in a 77-74 home loss Sunday to then-winless Northeastern. Loyola leads the series 27-22, but Towson State has won 10 of the past 13. Eleven of the past 13 games have been decided by 10 points or less.

Duquesne (2-2) at Coppin State (1-2)

Site: Coppin Center

Time: 7: 30

TV: HTS

Outlook: The nation's longest home winning streak (41 games) is on the line. The Eagles won their first game Saturday, defeating Colgate, 69-59, in the consolation game of the Ameritas Classic in Nebraska. Senior F/C Terquin Mott is averaging 19.7 points and 10.0 rebounds. Duquesne is led by G Tom Pipkins (17.5 ppg), who is 12-for-25 from three-point range.

Maryland women (5-1) at Loyola (0-5)

Site: Reitz Arena

Time: 7: 30

Outlook: Maryland leads the series 5-1, but the last time the Terrapins visited Reitz Arena two years ago, they lost to Loyola, 73-68, the first defeat for coach Chris Weller against a state opponent. Maryland is coming off Saturday's 72-53 upset of then-No. 23 Clemson. F Stephanie Cross leads the Terps with 12.2 ppg. The Greyhounds, who have been victimized by poor defense and turnovers, lost at Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, 75-67. Four players are scoring in double figures, led by G Jina Mosley (12.6 ppg, 7.2 rpg).
