Howard County police have released a video image of two men they say robbed the Safeway store in the Normandy Shopping Center in Ellicott City before Thanksgiving.

Police say the image shows two men entering the Safeway in the 8400 block of U.S. 40 about 3: 40 p.m. on Nov. 23.

A man in a yellow jacket demanded money from the safe after climbing over the office counter, while another man, in a blue Nautica jacket, acted as lookout, police said.

After the men obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, they ran out of the store and got into a teal Plymouth Neon, police said.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the police at (410) 313-3700 or 313-3200.
