Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Theft: Air-conditioning equipment of unknown value was stolen yesterday from a 1982 Ford van parked in the 1100 block of Sargeant St.

Eastern District

Shooting: A 19-year-old man was in the 2200 block of E. North Ave. on Monday when he was shot in the lower back by one of three men. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Central District

Bank robbery: A man, who gave a teller a note demanding money, robbed the Signet Bank in the first block of N. Charles St. yesterday.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A deliveryman for Marino's, a restaurant and carryout in the 5800 block of Hillen Road, was delivering a food order in the 1200 block of Winston Ave. on Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of more than $50.

Northern District

Burglary: One hundred cartons of cigarettes, 35 bottles of wine, 12 bottles of champagne, 60 bottles of liquors, 50 bars of soap and $40 were stolen Monday from Robin's Liquors in the 2700 block of Greenmount Ave. Entry was gained through a brick wall. Total value of the stolen property was nearly $1,400.

Robbery: A pizza deliveryman was making a delivery in the 2000 block of Druid Park Drive on Monday when a gunman stepped from the shadows and robbed him of two pizzas, his keys and more than $100.

Northwestern District

Shooting: A man was leaving a building in the 3100 block of W. Belvedere Ave. when a passenger in a passing car shot him in the right arm Monday. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A woman was entering her apartment in the 1300 block of N. Hilton St. Sunday night when three men, one with a handgun, forced her inside and robbed her of jewelry, cash and clothing, all valued at more than $1,000. The robbers tied up the woman and her young son in a bedroom. The woman reported the incident Monday morning.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A Dundalk Middle School student was walking home from school Monday and was at Yorkway and Broadship Road when an older youth, armed with a knife, robbed him of $7.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A man entered a home in the 8000 block of Highpoint Road on Monday and stole jewelry valued at $300. When the occupant spotted him, the intruder dropped the jewelry in the back yard and escaped.
