A 14-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint Saturday as he walked along Crain Highway near Nolpark Road, county police said.

The youth told police he was walking on the sidewalk shortly before 9 a.m. when a man approached him, demanded money and showed a handgun.

The youth gave the man $20 and told him that was all the money he had, but the gunman reached inside the boy's coat and took the rest of his money, police said.

The gunman ran south toward a nearby gas station. Police searched the area but did not find the culprit. Police did not have a detailed description of the suspect.
