Outlook: Fresh off Tuesday's 93-55 dismantling of Howard, the Terrapins now take on an opponent they've beaten all 11 times they've met. Last year's season-opening game was no breeze, though, with Maryland managing a 70-67 victory.

Morgan State (0-1) at Kansas State (2-0)

Site: Bramiage Coliseum, Manhattan, Kan.

Time: 1 p.m.

Outlook: Morgan State opened on Tuesday with a 74-58 loss at Georgia Tech. The Bears are 0-2 against Kansas State, losing last year, 69-60, and in 1985 by 111-70.

Loyola (1-0) at Penn State (1-1)

Site: Bryce Jordan Center, University Park, Pa.

Time: 2 p.m.

Radio: WWLG (1360 AM)

Outlook: Loyola is coming off Tuesday's 79-67 win over UMBC. These teams have split two games in the series, with Penn State winning, 88-47, in 1981 and Loyola posting a 74-70 upset in 1986. This is the first game Loyola has played against a Big 10 opponent.

La Salle (0-0) at Mount St. Mary's (0-1)

Site: Knott Arena, Emmitsburg

Time: 7: 30 p.m.

Radio: WXTR (820 AM)

Outlook: The Mount led Penn State by four points at halftime and nine early in the second half before losing, 64-57. Coach Jim Phelan made his first return to La Salle, his alma mater, last season and took home an 81-66 victory, ending a streak of four straight wins by the Explorers over the Mount.

Navy (2-1) at Air Force (0-2)

Site: Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Time: 7: 35 p.m.

Radio: WNAV (1430 AM)

Outlook: The Midshipmen rebounded from a loss at Towson State by beating Pitt at home, 60-49, hitting 23 of 27 free throws. They split their two games with the Falcons last season.

Coppin State (0-0) at Oklahoma (2-0)

Site: Lloyd Noble Center, Norman, Okla.

Time: 8 p.m.

Outlook: Coppin State averaged 105 points and shot 59 percent from the field in two exhibition wins. The Sooners lead the series 4-0. Coppin will be without senior forward Reggie Welch, who was suspended indefinitely for violating team academic rules.
