Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Silver Spoon Diner in the 1700 block of Washington Blvd. Tuesday.

Robbery: A man was riding his bike in the 2300 block of Norfolk St. Tuesday when several youths pushed him to the ground and robbed him of $18 and the bike.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A man was in the 2100 block of Belair Road Tuesday when another man assaulted and robbed him of property valued at $130.

Burglaries: Eight refrigerators, valued at $3,200, were stolen Monday from eight vacant apartments in four buildings at Arbor Oaks Apartments in the 5600 block of McClean Blvd.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A 1988 Ford Mustang with tags CEE 731 was stolen Tuesday in the 1300 block of Caton Ave.

Robbery: A man was leaving a grocery store in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of four bags of groceries and $8.

Northern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the C & L food market in the 200 block of E. 27th St. of more than $100 Tuesday.

Theft: A man stole a portable radio valued at $140 from Parts BTC America in the 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. Tuesday.

Robbery: Two men robbed a man of $30 in the 3200 block of Brentwood Ave. Tuesday.

Stolen car: A 1993 Dodge van with tags 585016M was stolen Tuesday in the 3000 block of Barclay St.

Robbery try: When an attendant at a Crown service station in the 5100 block of York Road refused to give a gunman money Tuesday morning, the gunman lighted a wick attached to a pint milk carton filled with a flammable liquid and threatened to throw it inside the booth. As the man continued to demand money, the wick set his clothing on fire, forcing him to drop the container and flee.

Robbery: A gunman stole $24 Tales From The White Hart, a bookstore in the 3300 block of Greenmount Ave., Tuesday. He also took jewelry, valued at $110, from an employee.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A woman was getting out of her car in the 3100 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway Tuesday when a man knocked her to the ground and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $50.

Robbery: A 19-year-old man was in the 4600 block of Garrison Blvd. Tuesday when he was struck over the head by another man, who stole his leather jacket valued at $500.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Two large-caliber handguns valued at more than $1,000 were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 12400 block of Belair Road.

Theft: A wallet containing more than $100 was stolen from a room at Overlea High School in the 5400 block of Kenwood Ave. Tuesday.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: At least 1,000 silver pre-1965 quarters, valued at $6,000, were stolen from the closet of a house in the 100 block of Kinship Road between Nov. 19 and Tuesday.

Theft: Three gold rings were stolen Tuesday from a bedroom in a house in the 100 block of Cherry Lane.
