Davis leads Terps women to victory 10-for-11 shooting helps drop Morgan State, 67-36

COLLEGE PARK -- Kalisa Davis scored 21 points on 10-for-11 shooting as the Maryland women's basketball team rolled to a 67-36 victory last night over Morgan State at Cole Field House.

The Terps (1-1) took control of the game early, shooting 48.9 percent in the first half to lead 35-13 at halftime. The Lady Bears (0-2) shot 23 percent for the game, making just 12 of 52 shots.

Morgan State managed to cut its deficit to 13 midway through the second half, but Maryland pulled away with a 28-12 run in the final 12 minutes, led by Davis' 13 points.
