Baltimore County police were searching last night for two men in a green Volkswagen Jetta seen leaving a Woodlawn parking lot where a man was fatally shot yesterday afternoon.

The victim, who police declined to identify last night, was an employee of Custom Additions Window Tinting in the 4200 block of Baltimore National Pike.

He was shot several times outside the shop after arguing with two men about 3: 30 p.m., said police spokesman Kevin B. Novak. The victim was flown by MedEvac helicopter to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he died a short time later.

Novak said police were unsure of a motive for the shooting.

Workers at an adjoining business said the victim had worked at the tinting shop for two years.

"He was a really nice guy, who only worked here two days a week," said Vick Thurai, owner of Manik Mufflers next door. He said the victim also ran his own window-tinting business.

Thurai said he heard two shots and ran outside.

"He was just lying on the ground," Thurai said. "I ran back inside and called 911."

Thurai said the man had about $600 in his pocket when he was killed.
