A bounty of free Thanksgiving meals

More than 25 Baltimore-area organizations are serving free Thanksgiving meals today, tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. They are:

Today: Students from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, students and volunteers from Booker T. Washington Middle School and the West Baltimore community will prepare ** dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Booker T. Washington Middle School, 1301 McCulloh St.

Tomorrow: St. Gregory the Great, 1514 N. Gilmor St., from noon to 2 p.m.

Tomorrow: Goodwill Industries is serving its Thanksgiving dinner for the 41st year from noon to 3 p.m. in the Baltimore Convention Center's Hall F on Sharp Street. The meal is free with a ticket. Information: 247-3500.

Tomorrow: Goodwill Industries, the United Way of Central Maryland and Action for the Homeless are sponsoring an Opportunity Fair, where more than 50 local agencies will offer advice on health care, legal problems, family services, employment, mental health, substance abuse, AIDS testing and housing problems from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Convention Center.

Tomorrow: Ames United Methodist Church, Carey and Baker streets, from noon to 4 p.m. tomorrow.

Thursday: Bea Gaddy will serve turkey dinners beginning at 10 a.m. at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Orleans and Caroline streets.

Thursday: Our Daily Bread, 411 Cathedral St., from 10: 30 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m. Our Daily Bread will feature J. P. Loban, a graduate student at the Peabody Conservatory, who will play classical guitar for those dining.

Thursday: American Rescue Workers, 11 W. Clement St., beginning at 3 p.m.

Thursday: Beans and Bread, 402 S. Bond St., from 10: 30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Thursday: Bread of Life, 1501 McCulloh St., beginning at noon. Thursday: Brown's Memorial Church, 3215 W. Belvedere Ave., from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday: Centennial United Methodist Church, 1029 E. Monument St., from 11: 30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday: Church of the Messiah, 5801 Harford Road, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday: Church on the Rock will offer a worship service and dinner from noon to 3 p.m. at the church, 100 E. Patapsco Ave. Reservations, 355-5922.

Thursday: City Temple of Baltimore Baptist, Eutaw Place and Dolphin Street, from noon to 4 p.m.

Thursday: East Baltimore Elks Lodge No. 1043, 2008 Harford Road, will serve a Thanksgiving Men's Breakfast at 10 a.m. The breakfast is given by the Greater East Baltimore Political Organization. All males are welcome. Information: Clarence Davis, 366-0483; Robert Andre Jones, 655-5018.

Thursday: The Southwestern District Police Athletic League and the Baltimore Community Foundation will hold a Thanksgiving feast for seniors from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Marguerite J. Campbell PAL Center, 2950 Phelps Lane.

Thursday: Helping Up Mission, 1029 E. Baltimore St., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday: Pentecost Church of Deliverance, 2320 Reisterstown Road, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday: Providence Baptist Church, 401 Pennsylvania Ave., from 11: 30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thursday: St. Ambrose Outreach, 3445 Park Heights Ave., from noon to 2 p.m.

Thursday: St. Peter Claver, Carey and Presstman streets, from noon to 6 p.m.

Thursday: Trinity Baptist Church, 1601 Druid Hill Ave., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday: Zoe Miracle Church, 4119 Reisterstown Road, from 1: 30 p.m. to 4: 30 p.m. Friday: Leith Walk Recreation Center will have a post-Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless for the Salvation Army's Shelter-The Booth House. Dinner will be served at 3: 30 p.m. for 35 homeless adults and children at Leith Walk Recreation Center. Entertainment will be provided by the Leith Walk Recreation Dance Group.

Thursday: Christ the King, 335 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk, from 11: 30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday: Liberty Senior Center, 8334 Liberty Road, Randallstown, for a kosher meal, from 11: 30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration: 887-0780.

Thursday: Rock Church, Loch Raven Boulevard and Cromwell Bridge Road, Towson, will have an international students banquet at 4: 30 p.m. in the chapel. Rides are available. Call Tommy Rayman before 4: 30 p.m. tomorrow at 882-2217.

Friday: St. Clare's Catholic Church, 714 Myrth Ave., Essex, will offer its Essex Hot Meal from 4: 30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the church hall.

Today: Baltimore Goodwill Industries will have a Thanksgiving dinner at Asbury Methodist Church, 87 West St., Annapolis, from noon to 3 p.m. . The dinner is free with a ticket. Call Sandy Barcroft at 247-3500, Ext. 141.

Thursday: Harundale Free Lunch Program will offer Thanksgiving dinner from 12: 30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Harundale Presbyterian Church, 1020 Eastway, Glen Burnie. Cadet Troop 318 and members of the congregation will serve dinner. Contact Chris Wolfe, 766-4338, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today to serve or attend.

Thursday: The Shepherd's Staff, a cooperative ministry of Westminster-area churches, will offer its fourth annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner from noon to 3 p.m. in the cafeteria of St. John Catholic School, 43 Monroe St., Westminster.
