DEATHS ELSEWHERE

November 25, 1996

Terence Donovan, 60, a prominent fashion and society photographer, killed himself in his studio in west London on Friday after a severe reaction to medication, his family said Saturday. The announcement issued by his wife, Diana, did not elaborate on his health problems.

Besides his fashion work, his subjects included Margaret Thatcher, Princess Diana and the Duchess of York, the former Sarah Ferguson. The December issue of GQ magazine features one of his last projects, pictures of British rock stars including Jarvis Cocker of Pulp, Suede's Brett Anderson, Bryan Ferry, Elvis Costello, Ron Wood -- and a self-portrait.
