Westminster: Firefighters from Gamber and Pleasant Valley assisted Westminster at 8: 41 a.m. Wednesday, responding to a fuel spill on Route 97. Units were out 15 minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters responded at 4: 19 p.m. Wednesday to an auto fire in the first block of Longwell Ave. Units were out 13 minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters from Pleasant Valley assisted Westminster at 6: 25 p.m. Wednesday, responding to a chimney fire in the 1100 block of Meadow Branch Road. Units were out one hour.

Reese: Firefighters responded at 10: 38 p.m. Wednesday to a wood fire on Arnold Road at Hook Road. Units were out one hour and 23 minutes.


Westminster: A resident of Newville, Pa., told police Tuesday that someone stole electronic equipment from his vehicle while it was parked at Western Maryland College. The loss was estimated at $400.
