November 20, 1996

County police arrested a Glen Burnie woman on drug charges Friday and seized $89 from her after her boyfriend called them to his house in Heritage Hills.

Donna Lynn Plitt, 33, of the 7000 block of Aviation Blvd. was charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Britain, 34, called police to his home in the 6400 block of Lincoln Court about 8 p.m. He saw his girlfriend in his living room with caplets of heroin, police said.

He told police he was angry because she was not getting help for her drug problem and they have a 14-month-old child in the house.

When police arrived, she told them she was on an anti-depressant medication. When an officer asked to see the bottle, the woman took prescription bottles from her bag. While the woman was rummaging through her bag, an officer saw a syringe, police said.

Police arrested her, searched her bag and confiscated 13 caplets of heroin and $89.
