Tersiguel's Restaurant in Ellicott City is to receive a bronze plaque from the Ellicott City Restoration Foundation, honoring the building's history as the home of Mordecai Gist Sykes, a two-term mayor of Ellicott City (1889-1897).

County Executive Charles I. Ecker will unveil the plaque at noon tomorrow.

Beaujolais Nouveau -- the new wine of the season -- will arrive by limousine to celebrate the occasion and will be served at a benefit luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tickets are $30. The proceeds are to go to the Children of Separation and Divorce Center Inc. and the St. Agnes Hospital Oncology Department.
