Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Robbery: Two men, one armed with a shotgun, forced their way into the apartment of an elderly man in the 2400 block of Callow Ave. on Sunday and robbed him of money and a Smith & Wesson revolver. The victim was assaulted but not injured.

Theft from vehicle: Power and hand tools, all valued at nearly $4,000, were stolen from a truck parked in the 1800 block of St. Paul St. between Sunday and yesterday.

Northeastern District

Stolen car: A 1991 Buick with tags 802 AYP was stolen in the 3900 block of Kimble Road Saturday or Sunday.

Robbery: A woman was in the 1100 block of E. Cold Spring Lane on Sunday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her purse containing a small sum of money.

Northern District

Burglary: A mountain bike valued at more than $1,000 was stolen Sunday from a house in the first block of W. 29th St.

Theft: Nearly a dozen videotapes, all valued at more than $200, were stolen Sunday from Blockbuster Video in the 1000 block of W. 41st St.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A woman was in the 5800 block of Rubin Ave. on fTC Sunday when a gunman robbed her of property valued at nearly $40.

Shooting: A man was in the 5000 block of Beaufort Ave. on Saturday when he heard gunshots and felt a pain in his chest. He was treated at Sinai Hospital for a graze wound to the chest.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary try: Several vending machines in the Essex Community College administration building in the 7200 block of Rossville Blvd. were broken into Sunday. No money was reported missing.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A gunman wearing dark clothing, a black knit cap, sunglasses and a scarf tied up two employees and robbed Top Hat Cue Club in the 8800 block of Satyr Hill Road on Sunday.

North Point Precinct

Theft: A woman shopping at Kmart in the 200 block of North Point Blvd. Sunday left her purse, containing more than $400, unattended in a shopping cart, and someone stole it.

Burglary/arrest: A 21-year-old woman entered her ex-boyfriend's apartment in the 7700 block of Dory Lane on Sunday and allegedly pulled a telephone from the wall, then assaulted him. Outside the apartment, she allegedly damaged the roof of his 1986 Chevrolet pickup truck. Mary Tricia Ray, of the 8200 block of Northview Road, was arrested and charged with burglary.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: Police were to issue a warrant for the arrest of a 19-year-old man from the 3000 block of Mardell Ave. who allegedly robbed two occupants of a 1994 Toyota Camry of cellular phones and money Sunday at gunpoint in the 2300 block of Alma Road. After robbing the victims, the gunman drove off in the car with tags DTD 387.
