Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular telephone valued at nearly $160 was stolen Saturday from a 1995 Ford parked in the 3400 block of Greenmount Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A 1991 Plymouth van with tags ABA10X was stolen Saturday from the 5900 block of Popland St.

Burglary: A lawn mower and leaf blower, all valued at more than $500, were stolen Saturday from a shed in the 2400 block of Brambleton Road.

Eastern District

Robbery: A 38-year-old man in the 1900 block of N. Washington St. yesterday was forced to the ground by two gunmen and robbed of nearly $400.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 48-year-old man of $72 in the 2200 block of E. North Ave. on Saturday.

Church burglary: Equipment for the public address system, valued at $500, was stolen from the Word of God Deliverance Church in the 1100 block of N. Wolfe St. on Friday or Saturday.

Theft from vehicle: Stereo equipment valued at $200 was stolen Saturday from a 1987 Chevrolet Nova parked in the 1400 block of Ensor St.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1989 Ford Probe with tags BYD 472 was stolen Saturday from the 6000 block of Clover Road.

Stolen car: A black 1990 Nissan 280ZX with tags YBS 976 was stolen Saturday from the 3800 block of Pinkney Road.

Stolen car: A 1989 Ford with tags DHK 790 was stolen Saturday in the 4000 block of Garrison Blvd.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1994 Jeep Cherokee Laredo with tags 530803M was stolen Saturday in the 600 block of Stamford Road.

Robbery: After accepting a ride from a man Saturday, a 24-year-old woman was robbed of a small amount of money and two packs of cigarettes in the 2500 block of Frederick Ave. The man implied he had a weapon.

Stolen car: A 1993 Ford Escort with tags CHT 937 was stolen Saturday in the 4400 block of Rokeby Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Theft: A man hired to do odd jobs at a house in the 200 block of Linhigh Ave. on Saturday entered the bedroom and stole $100.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Cigarettes valued at $160 were stolen Saturday from Joppa Liquors in the 1900 block of E. Joppa Road.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: An unarmed man stole money from the Royal Farm store in the 6000 block of Falls Road on Saturday. .

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglaries: Four offices in a building in the first block of E. Padonia Road, including the campaign headquarters of County Executive C. A. Dutch Ruppersberger, were broken into Friday night or Saturday. Computer equipment from the office of three attorneys was the only property reported stolen. A man who told an employee of one of the offices that he was there to change light bulbs was being sought.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Computer equipment, a child's electric racing car and a wagon were stolen Saturday from a house in the 8200 block of Butler Road. Police said the house was being renovated and that entry was gained by removing a piece of plywood covering a door.

Burglary: A diamond ring valued at more than $1,000 was stolen Saturday from a house in the first block of Wessex Court in Reisterstown.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A Baltimore woman was in the 1700 block of Champlain Drive on Saturday when a man she knows as "John" robbed her of more than $100.

Theft/arrest: A 17-year-old boy was arrested Saturday when he attempted to leave the Hecht's department store in the Security Square Mall without paying for a jacket valued at nearly $200.

Woodlawn Precinct

Theft: Police were seeking a known suspect in the theft Saturday of more than $160 from a cash register at the Royal Farm store in the 6400 block of Windsor Mill Road.
