Bullets tonight

November 15, 1996

Opponent: Detroit Pistons

Site: The Palace of Auburn Hills, Mich.

Time: 7: 30

TV/Radio: Ch. 50/WWRC (980 AM)

Outlook: This is an opportunity for the Bullets to avenge a 92-79 loss earlier this week that was not as close as the final score indicated. The Pistons improved to 6-1 with Wednesday's overtime victory over the Denver Nuggets. Detroit is led by G Grant Hill, who is averaging 23.5 points and 9.7 rebounds. Washington, which scored just 30 points in the first half Tuesday against the Pistons, needs to get out and run -- something the team did well in the win over New Jersey on Wednesday. C/F Lorenzo Williams is leaning toward having surgery on his left knee, which could happen today.
