Lisbon dentist-farmer elected County Fair Board president

Howard County Fair Board members elected Dr. Grant Hill, a Lisbon dentist and farmer, as their new president Wednesday night.

Hill succeeds Rob Moxley III, who was president for three years and was a former vice president on the board. Moxley will remain on the board of directors.

The board organizes the annual fair and the estimated 100 agricultural and trade shows at the grounds in West Friendship.

Hill, 55, who runs dental offices in Lisbon and Catonsville, has been on the board for 10 years.

The board selected Mickey Day, 34, of West Friendship as vice president. He has served on the board for 13 years.
