Baltimore County police were investigating the apparent murder-suicide of an elderly couple whose bodies were found by their son in their Woodstock home.

The names of the victims were not immediately available.

Lt. Rodney Evans of the communications section said the son was talking to his father on the telephone about 7: 40 p.m.

He became alarmed when he heard the couple bickering, Evans said.

After hanging up, the son called police and went to the home.

When he and officers from the Woodlawn Precinct entered the house in the 10000 block of Davis Ave., they found the husband and wife dead.

Evans said there were at least two firearms in the house. However, he declined to say how the couple died.

Autopsies of the bodies were planned for today.
