Mary Louise Pearl, 54, printing firm supervisor

Mary Louise Pearl, a former supervisor for the Corporate Printing Co., died Thursday of cancer at Loudon Hospital Center in Leesburg, Va. She was 54 and lived in Lovettsville, Va.

Mrs. Pearl, known as "Mary Lou," worked as a shift manager for the printing company in Linthicum and Hanover for about five years until she became ill and retired in April. She commuted to work from her home in Lovettsville, as she had for a previous job with a printing company in Washington.

Born in Rahway, N.J., the former Mary Louise Haggerty began her career there with Quinn & Boden, and worked for several financial printers before her job at Corporate Printing.

Funeral services were held yesterday at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, Va.

Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Norman Pearl; a son, David Kurutza of Lovettsville; three daughters, Laura Kurutza of Lovettsville, Peggy Dietz of Roselle, N.J., and Christine Wagner of Edison, N.J.; her parents, William Haggerty of North Arlington, N.J., and Margaret Haggerty of Parlin, N.J.; two sisters, Peggy Huxford and Maureen Haggerty, both of Rahway; and three grandchildren.
