Carolyn Eugenia Agger, 87, a lawyer and widow of former Supreme Court Justice Abe Fortas, died of pneumonia Thursday at her home in Washington. She championed women's rights and worked into her 70s. She was a senior partner in the Washington law firm of Arnold & Porter. Her husband, who died in 1992, was on the high court from 1965 to 1969.
