Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Eastern District

Shooting/arrest: A man was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday after he was shot in the head in an argument with a gunman Wednesday in the 1200 block of N. Bond St. Thiwite DeChamps, 17, of the Bond Street address, was charged as an adult with assault to commit murder and a handgun violation.

Central District

Shooting/arrest: A 35-year-old man was arrested and charged in the shooting of two men in the 2200 block of Druid Hill Ave. on Wednesday. One victim was shot in the right ankle while arguing with the accused and was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. A bystander was struck in the left hand by a stray bullet and declined medical treatment. Charles Watson, 35, of the 2300 block of Madison Ave. was charged with two counts of assault by shooting and a handgun violation.

Shooting: A 21-year-old West Lanvale Street man was shot in the leg Wednesday during what police said was a drug-related incident in the 500 block of Bloom St. The victim was shot after he got into an argument during a drug transaction and was treated at Maryland General Hospital.

Robbery: A man was in the 400 block of W. Hoffman St. yesterday when he was robbed of more than $20 by a man armed with a knife.

Robbery: An 18-year-old woman was walking in the 200 block of W. Fayette St. yesterday when a man robbed her of jewelry, valued at more than $800.

Northern District

Robbery/arrest: A woman was in the 3100 block of Old York Road on Wednesday when a man robbed her of $19. Larry Brown, 19, of the 3100 block of Harford Road was charged with assault, robbery and theft in the incident.

Robbery: A 13-year-old boy was in the 5400 block of The Alameda on Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of several compact disc cartridges.

Stolen car/arrest: A 1994 Dodge with tags DNF 229 was stolen Wednesday in the 2800 block of Hampden Ave. Later, police stopped the car and arrested the driver.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1989 Chevrolet Blazer with tags 806068 was stolen Wednesday in the 4100 block of Sunnyside Ave.

Stolen car: A 1983 Chevrolet with tags XYK 698 was stolen Wednesday in the 4000 block of Belvieu Ave.

Theft from auto: Stereo equipment and a vehicle anti-theft device were stolen Wednesday from a 1996 Hyundai parked in the 5900 block of Western Run Drive.

Theft from vehicle: A vacuum cleaner valued at more than $100 was stolen from a 1988 Plymouth Voyager parked Wednesday in the 2900 block of Garrison Blvd.

Theft: A tire and rim, all valued at $300, was taken from a 1994 Volvo 850 parked in the 3900 block of Dorchester Road on Wednesday.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A compact disc player was stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Hickory Nut Court.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry, checks and keys were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1100 block of Tace Drive. The thief entered through a window while the occupant was asleep.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Several offices in the Kelly Building in the first block of E. Timonium Road were ransacked Wednesday. The break-in was discovered by police and it was not immediately known if property was missing.
