Reservations due today for Beth Israel celebration

Reservations must be made by today for those planning to attend the 40th anniversary celebration of Beth Israel Congregation of Owings Mills.

The event will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Nov. 30 at the synagogue, 3706 Crondall Lane.

Tickets are $50.

'Sister to Sister' conference scheduled for next week

The Esther Women's Ministry of First Christian Community Church in Annapolis invites the public to its third annual "Sister to Sister" women's conference at 7: 30 p.m. Nov. 15 and a workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16.

A concert for conferees will feature local choirs and soloists at 7: 30 p.m. Nov. 16.

The conference will be held at St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1120 Spa Road, Annapolis.

The registration fee is $10 by today or $15 at the site. A concert admission is $5 at the door.

Lutheran women offer all-you-can-eat breakfast

The Ladies Guild of Magothy Chelsea Community Lutheran Church is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10: 30 a.m. Nov. 16 at the church, Beach Avenue and Third Street in Magothy Beach.

The menu will include eggs, pancakes, creamed chipped beef, potatoes, juice and fruit. The cost is $4.50 for adults and $2.50 for children age 12 and younger. Children younger than 3 eat free.

Proceeds will benefit the Sunday school.

Morgan State choir will perform Sunday

The Progressive Shiloh Workers of New Shiloh Baptist Church will present the Morgan State University Choir in concert at 6: 30 p.m. Sunday.

Proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund at New Shiloh, 2100 N. Monroe St., Baltimore.

Fulton Baptist function to focus on commitment

"Renewing the Vision of Commitment: Altogether on One Accord" is the theme of Sunday's Annual Women's Day at Fulton Baptist Church, 1622 W. North Ave., Baltimore.

Guest preachers will speak at the 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. services.
