Most charitable giving isn't as easy as this. Eat at one of the participating restaurants today and tonight, and 20 percent of your bill will be donated to Dining Out for Life. (Mt. Vernon Stable & Saloon and PaperMoon Diner donate 50 percent of their day's receipts.)
Dining Out for Life is the annual fund-raiser for Moveable Feast, the Maryland organization that delivers free meals to homebound people with AIDS. Last year more than 135,000 meals were served.
